The Brand This supermarket giant is looking for a Consumer PR Manager (equivalent to SAM-SAD level agency side) with a passion for food/drink/retail and solid consumer brand experience. This is a rare opportunity to go in house at a huge name brand and a fantastic next step in your PR career. A FTSE 100 leader in the FMCG, Food & Drink and retail space, there have been a lot of recent “wins” for the brand – from a hugely successful Christmas season that saw them fight of competition from other retailers to innovative initiatives like championing crack downs on waste, launching vegan/trendy health ranges to excite consumers and products that are exclusive to them, giving them the edge over the competition. As they continue to report high levels of growth commercially, they are also re-forming their PR team and are looking for a talented Consumer PR Manager to add to the mix! The Role – Consumer PR Manager Working as the number two to the Head of Brand, this role will give you the ownership and influence you crave. You’ll have real opportunity to define how the brand does consumer PR, championing the newly formed division internally and externally. Key Responsibilities of the Consumer PR Manager: Be the number two to the Head of Brand Campaigns, helping define how the company does consumer PR and championing this internally Build a multi-layered consumer PR plan, working within the business and external PR agencies to bring these ideas to life Manage consumer PR events and activations to agreed budget and timings, at the same time as continually looking for ways to improve and innovate Generate coverage and editorial content across media publications, online and offline Manage the consumer PR budget and the agency retainer Nurture and develop one direct report About You: Experienced gained either in house or agency side, FMCG/food and drink preferred A strong network of influencers and media contacts Experience of managing large budgets Confident, social and unflappable, someone who enjoy working as part of a lively and dynamic team In return: Annual bonus up to 3.5% of annual salary 10% discount off everything in store Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day A retirement savings plan - 4%-7.5% contribution rate Life Assurance - 5 x contractual pay Buy As You Earn Scheme Save As You Earn Scheme Deals and Discounts through many other external businesses What’s more, the benefits package improves as you progress within the company and gain seniority.
