Bids and tenders Co-ordinator
Exciting opportunity for a Bids & Tender Co-coordinator to join a progressive company based in Ilminster
Evaluation, preparation and submission of company project tender bids compliant with corporate policies and procedures.
Manage the process of Bids and Tenders through out the life cycle.
Marketing and promotion of the Company products and Services.
Material cost estimating and recording.
Negotiation of price and legal terms and conditions to contract execution
General support to the Sales & Marketing Senior Manager
Ensure the Bids and Tenders tracking is updated on a regular basis and all key stakeholders are kept informed of any changes.
Communicate with Team members and customers as required both verbally and in writing.
Provide monthly KPI's on successful and unsuccessful bids and tenders.
Provide monthly breakdown of Quarterly Business Report analysis specifically regarding new and on-going bids and tenders.
Receipt of tender enquiries and the completion of tender evaluation records and project management plans.
Preparation/coordination of tender material and cost estimations.
Evaluation and negotiation of contract legal terms and conditions in compliance to corporate procedures. Uploading of contract documents to Wabtec legal team.
Preparation/coordination of tender technical proposal and compliancy records.
Submission of approved tender bids.
Project start-up meetings on receipt of awarded contract.
Completion and maintenance of all tender records in compliance to BW business management system and corporate policies. Uploading of contract documents to Wabtec repository.
Preparation of reports to Management

Extensive experience in a bids and tenders role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience of coordinating and managing complex multi faceted bids and tenders.
A minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
Ability to communicate and interact well with internal and external stakeholders.
To be able to read, write and work with numbers to a good standard.
Good written skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a diverse and changing environment.
Demonstrate an empathy and understanding of customer need.
Ability to carry out all aspects of the role to a high standard at all times
Ability to effectively work in a team so that all members of the team are fully aware of their role and responsibility.

Salary in the region of 22k-26k + benefits package
