Purpose of this 9 till 5 role:

The role is to cover a full-time member of staff's maternity cover for up to 9 months, from January 2018. Full training will be provided. A nice local job for a local person.

Main Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Daily processing of all payments
  • Ensure all invoices are correctly coded and authorised
  • To enter data relating to Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger onto the Cashbook
  • Running, collating and analysing reports
  • Intercompany invoicing and processing
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Accounts Analysis and Reconciliations
  • Cashier Duties which will include Petty Cash, Cash ups, Change orders and Bank runs.
  • Online Banking (including providing weekly bank balance totals to the Director)
  • Childcare vouchers (allocating these and dealing with queries)
  • Rental income (monitoring and relevant transfers and deposit refunds)
  • General administrative duties

Ideally looking for a candidate who has the following:

  • At least 1 year's accounts experience or a very strong administration background
  • Must be organized and Pro-active
  • Good communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Confident
  • Good organisational skills
  • The ability to work on your own initiative

Hours: 9am - 5pm. (half an hour lunch with 20% off St Ives Tap Room)
