Events Assistant – Lighting the Fire London Living Wage (£10.20 per hour) Full-time, Contract (1 March-30 June 2018) Location: Finsbury Park, N4 Ref: THI EA? Leap Confronting Conflict is looking for an Events Assistant to support the planning and delivery of Lighting the Fire, our annual awards ceremony. Lighting the Fire celebrates the organisations and individuals who support young people with conflict. It's our flagship event and is a key opportunity for us to engage with new and existing funders and partner organisations. In 2016, approximately 300 people attended the event from a range of sectors, including funders, prisons, youth charities and corporates. We are planning to deliver a similar event in May 2018. Line managed by the Senior Communications Officer this role will be responsible for the administration and logistics of Lighting the Fire. The successful candidate will also support the planning and successful delivery of the event. As this role is based in the Communications team the role will also cover some communications tasks, such as supporting with internal communications and social media. This is a superb opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in events and communications.
