JOB TITLE:Social Media Executive LOCATION:Head Office RESPONSIBLE TO:Sales and Marketing Manager Scope and Purpose of Role The Social Media Executive will be primarily responsible for managing over 30 individual nursery Facebook pages and handling communications between nurseries and their existing parents. This role is perfect for someone who has at least one year’sexperience of social media management and customer communications, who is looking to take the next step in their career. We’re looking for someone with great organisational skills who is able to handle the digital communications for dozens of nurseries, whilst maintaining excellent grammar and tone of voice at all times.Although your main focus will be communicating with existing parents, you will also be involved with generating enquiries from new parents through social media and local ad campaigns. Principle responsibilities Handling over 30 individual nursery Facebook pages using a social media dashboard (experience with Sprout Social is desirable but not essential) Producing quarterly nursery newsletters, daily Facebook posts and copy for email marketing (excellent and demonstrable copywriting skills are essential for this role) Establishing and maintaining key relationships with nursery staff to ensure all digital communications are efficient and accurate Dealing with incoming Facebook enquires from existing and potential parents in a timely, professional and friendly manner Producing monthly reports dealing with social media engagement metrics (strong analytical skills required) Planning and executing email marketing campaigns Creating targeted local Facebook ads for individual nurseries Other Job-related Duties To undertake other duties consistent with the scope of the post and within the competence of the post holder as required and directed by the Directors.
