We’re looking for a Delivery Manager who can help us:

– manage and drive key initiatives and projects

– work closely with development teams to implement and deliver business functionality across a range of different platforms and systems

– handle stakeholder relationships

– manage projects budgets, schedule, scope, priorities, team allocation, and oversee the implementation all the way until delivery

– coordinate releases to production

– provide technical leadership

– look after delivery teams based in Europe and London.

Your team

You’ll be working in a global team that develops and maintains a suite of applications. As Delivery Manager, you will work closely with colleagues in London and other locations as well as your business stakeholders to understand the business requirements and the overall programme context to ensure that deliveries align to the programme objectives and timescales.

Your experience and skills

You have:

– experience working in a global IT organization within financial services

– the ability to interact with business stakeholders and product owners to understand complex requirements

– previous technical project management and stakeholder management experience

– proven track record of delivering software projects to demanding product owners in an Agile environment

– good communication and influencing skills

– the willingness to challenge stakeholders to ensure requirements are sensible and deliver benefit to UBS and our clients

– strong problem solving ability

– a good understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, in particular release processes

– the readiness to get involved in requirement analysis and assist delivery teams during implementation

– knowledge and experience of analytical best practices and techniques (e.g. Specification By Example)

– (nice to have) technical skills (e.g. Java, Oracle, Spring, Linux, Teamcity, Git, Maven)

You are:

– passionate about supporting the development of IT systems and applications

– well organized, able to simultaneously manage multiple streams of work

– adaptable, able to work across teams and functions

– proactive, comfortable working in a dynamic environment with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements

– fluent in English
