£19,678 per annum for working 36 hours per week based at Esher Local Office, Elmbridge Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, KT10 9SD.

About the Role

Our busy and motivated North East Surrey Special Educational Needs Team, based in Esher deals with the administration around children with special educational needs (SEN).

We are looking for an excellent administrator who can use their initiative and work to tight deadlines. A lot of your time will be spent supporting the team, so you need to be organised, flexible with good ICT skills, along with the ability to work with a dedicated database.

Your day to day activities will include but not be limited to:

  • Acting as a contact point for members of the public and schools
  • Answering general enquiries by post, email and telephone regarding special education needs
  • Liaising with other educational or health professionals
  • Responsibility for ensuring the team meets deadlines as set by SEN Code of Practice
  • Managing general administrative team duties
