AAT / ACCA part - Semi Senior / Senior
A leading North Devon firm of chartered accountants has a requirement for an AAT / ACCA part, Semi Senior / Senior accountant to join their growing team. One of North Devons leading and fast growing firm of chartered accountants. The firm has grown through both significant organic and acquisitional growth. The firm has clear future growth plans and does present an environment, where career focused professionals can grow and develop. The firms clients are very varied to cover the expected rural related sectors, across the region, but also with a very wide ranging, commercial client base, across varied industry, sole trade, partnership and limited company, OMB and SME clients. The firm also has a handful of clients with audit requirement.
Joining as an AAT / ACCA part Semi Senior / Senior Accountant, you will join the North Devon offices commercial team, working with qualified managers and partners, on a wide ranging client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, across varied sector and turnover OMBs and SMEs, preparing accounts, tax and other varied responsibilities, across things like VAT , management accounts, perhaps with the chance to junior on a small number of audits and learn the skills on this side, as a few examples. You will develop technically, increasing your technical skill knowledge, with increasing responsibility, client contact and involvement in project work, as you develop with the role and firm. You will be encouraged to develop in your career, with full study support on offer, for courses, time off for study and exams
You may be either AAT qualified, or ACCA part qualified, or studying. Most importantly you will have at least two, to three years or more experience gained within the accountancy practice sector, working within a small, medium or large independent firm of accountants, or larger top 50, Mid tier firm perhaps in their smaller business units, preparing accountants for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Circa £18000 - £26000 dependent on the experience, background and level, full study support, plus benefits.
