We are looking for a consultant with Life and GI background, to join our domain practice. To be successful you will be client focused, domain experienced, outcome oriented, collaborative, and good exposure on product configuration. Comfortable and familiar with understanding workflows, business services, database modelling, functional testing. Ideally, you will be familiar or experienced with Digital Transformation, Agile, and improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma. In return, you will have the opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility, develop your business transformation skills, and be creative in delivering customer outcomes. Responsibilities: Support or Lead project providing subject matter expertise, workflows and delivery capability in area(s) of UK Life, Pensions and Annuity. Provide support and mentoring to junior project team members. Build and manage client and internal relationships. Adjust within a team and work in collaboration with other teams. Proactive to learn. Skills and Experience: Mandatory Domain exposure – UK Pensions & Annuity, Regulator. Good knowledge and understanding of SQL and Database Modelling, Handling Workflows issues, Config issues etc. Experience on Batches, Debugging Logs or Messages, Incident Management. Work experience within agile delivery with suppliers. Should be having IT Business Analysis work experience. Life insurance knowledge Key will be there analytical knowledge and working within agile delivery with suppliers Apart from BA and agile experience, you have to be proficient in Operational and process analysis. You also needs to have hands-on on Industry best practices, including both existing and emerging technologies and Business analysis practices. Desirable Background of financial services and migration would be useful. Excellent Communication Skills. Process Oriented and Good team player. Customer satisfaction and drive to take more work. Flexible to work in shifts. SKILLS Stakeholder management skills assertive in a non-confrontational way with ability to manage difficult and senior stakeholders utilising negotiation and diplomacy skills ability to recognise risks and issues and escalate accordingly will present a professional image of client as we will potentially require the individual to represent client company to 3rd Parties Able to build strong networks and relationships quickly across the organization TECHNIQUES Ability to produce high quality business analysis deliverables including the following :- Production of business requirements including User stories and the use of backlogs Ability to assist and challenge stakeholders on the priority of requirements Production of artefacts such as Process Map Use Case User Journeys Business Rules Facilitation of workshops OBJECTIVES Objective of the role will be to - Definition of business requirements in support of the delivery of a large programme of work involving multiple work streams. Working as a member of a team and collaborating effectively with other disciplines to achieve the Programme outcome. Location Based in York, Norwich, or Bristol. Travel between York, Norwich and London is expected.
