Macildowie are delighted to be working with a Food manufacturing business based in Kettering on the recruitment of a Payroll, Benefits & HR Systems Officer. The role will sitting within the HR team and report into the HR Manager. You will work closely with the wider organisation to ensure continuous high performance throughout the business. This role is paying between £25,000-£30,000 depending on experience.
The role will involve managing and processing the monthly payroll for all UK staff, ranging from blue collar and white collar employees. You will ensure that all data is entered accurately and that any amendments in regards to overtime, bonuses and shift patterns are taken into consideration when processing. The role will also enable you to look at the companies' benefits and pension schemes. This will involve managing the auto enrolment for pensions, and liaising with external providers to ensure this is set up correctly and efficiently.
When looking at benefits, the company currently has a range of benefits in place such as pension, private healthcare, company cars, long service awards and other salary sacrifice schemes. It will be your job to ensure that all of these are set up correctly and in line with the businesses process and current legislation.
When looking at HR Systems, you will be responsible for the time and attendance systems, performing all system and data checks ensuring that everything is compliant ready for audits. You will provide advice to the wider business around system issues and be responsible for providing other employees advice around the current benefits schemes.
This role will act as a stand alone and will give you amazing exposure into working within a fast paced environment. You will receive support from the wider HR team but will be the 'go-to' person for all payroll and benefits advice.
Due to the business being fast paced, you will need to be able to work to time constraints and with accuracy. The payroll side of this role must be done with care and confidence so high attention to detail is key. You will be stress resilient and be very solutions focused.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in processing monthly Payroll
Previous experience with using and utilizing time and attendance systems
Worked in a HR environment and used HR systems
Be strong and confident in your approach
Be able to work to tight deadlines
Be adaptable and flexible in certain situations
Have a high level of customer focus
