An established and well revered Accountancy Practice with excellent transport links and parking are looking to add to their growing team. You will benefit from a collaborative working environment and an excellent support system. This organisation have an Investors In People Gold Award and will be providing study support to commence or complete ACCA/ACA professional qualifications. To be considered you do need to have worked within an Accountancy practice previously and possess advanced Excel skills. It would be advantageous if you have working knowledge of Sage and Xero but this is not essential. The Accounting Technician will be liaising with clients via the telephone and email so it is imperative you are a confident communicator.

Accounting Technician duties and responsibilities:

Building client relationships and supporting the Account Managers in all aspects of Accounts and Tax work.

Assisting the Client Managers as required

  • Preparing records checklists
  • Producing Management and Annual Accounts for Clients
  • Providing Xero training and support to clients
  • Producing VAT Returns
  • Company Secretarial Services
  • Undertake Client bookkeeping

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week
