We are recruiting for a building services electrical maintenance engineer (ideally with mechanical experience) to work on a prestigious retail facility in the Glasgow area. The work will cover the general upkeep and maintenance of electrical plant and basic AC, AHU low level maintenance via PPM and reactive works plus small works projects. The electrician will be from the HVAC or building services sector with experience of FM and maintenance contracts.
The position is Permanent position paying circa 30-32k depending on qualification level
On call circa 1-4 (TBC)
On call - £10/day (£30/BH)
Overtime x1.5 (call out at x1.5)

Based on a split shift (Mon-Fri) circa 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm - alternating rota
Your role will be to complete the electrical plant and general HVAC maintenance. You will cover planned and unplanned work requests to ensure a safe service with minimum disruption to the operation of the client. The main aspects of the role will be to:
* Deliver a responsive breakdown and planned preventative maintenance service
Electrical distribution boards
Lighting & Emergency Lighting
General wiring and trunking
Plus electrical feeds and controls to:
Air conditioning, splits, condensors etc.
AHU's and venting
Fan Coil Units
Pumps and valves
A suitable electrical Apprenticeship and a City and Guilds or equivalent is required for this role.
C&G 2382 17th Edition
C&G 2360 Electrical Installation part 1 part 2
C&G 2391 certificate in test and inspection would be beneficial but not essential
The successful candidate will have experience in electrical plant maintenance within a large organisation coordinating and general HVAC maintenance.
Experience of AHU's, venting and fan coil units - basic maintenance
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Familiar with FM and Building Services
Willingness to take ownership of the maintenance and develop within the position
Willingness to complete general maintenance tasks
