Job title: Waking Night Support Worker Contract: Permanent Rate of pay: £10.00ph Hours of work: Variable Reporting to: The General Manager and Support Manager Job Purpose: - Safeguard service users in accordance with the organisations policy and procedures - Assist the Managers in the day to day running of the service - Provide tailored support, guidance and assessment of young people to ensure the best possible outcomes, and a smooth transition into independence - Assist the managers in the development of the service Duties & Responsibilities: - Assist the managers in the running of the service and reporting occurrences as necessary - Contribute to a positive environment for young people to live and staff to work - Work in a way that promotes equality and diversity with both colleagues and service users - Develop and maintain relationships with key agencies and work in accordance with statutory frameworks they work in. - Assist in achieving the best possible outcomes for young people - Liaising with Children’s Services, Housing, Health, and Education Services and other professionals as needed - Maintain key relationships to high standards at all times - Promote the wellbeing of the young people - Maintain an environment that promotes positive acceptable behaviour - Carry out light cleaning duties and checks, and adhere to the Health and Safety policy - Undertake other duties as required by delegation of the managers appropriate to experience of the role To be considered for this role, please apply today.
