Healthcare Compliance Manager for the UK & Ireland affiliate of an international pharmaceutical company. Role includes driving ABPI and IPHA Code adherence and building culture of compliance companywide.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Our client, a specialist pharmaceutical company is looking to recruit a Healthcare Compliance Manager for its UK affiliate. This is a standalone position, reporting into the Medical Affairs Director, requiring the holder to be able to work autonomously.

It is an all encompassing role, the key aspect of which is building and maintaining a culture of compliance. Key responsibilities include:

- Being the local affiliate liaison working with global colleagues ensuring compliance strategies, policies and procedures are robust and in place. This includes keeping company SOPs up to date.
- Leading on compliance issues that arise, providing expertise to alleviate potential issues.
- Planning and delivering Compliance training including ABPI and IPHA Codes of Practice updates to staff.
- Being the company lead for the Veeva Promo Mats system.
- Being the external face of the company at Compliance Meetings e.g. the ABPI Compliance Network.
- Reviewing promotional materials to ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Healthcare Compliance position.
- Extensive, deep expertise and knowledge of the ABPI and IPHA Code of Practice and advertising regulations.
- Proven project management skills implementing compliance change within previous roles.
- Influencing skills across company to global level.
- Proven ability to work autonomously
- Working knowledge of Veeva Promo Mats an advantage
