3rd Level Technical Support
Eden Scott’s established client is recruiting for a 3rd Level Technical Support to join their in-house team in Glasgow on a permanent basis. The Role You will be involved in the 3rd line level support of all aspects of IT infrastructure. You will be a key figure in the delivery of ongoing and new projects. The role will also include improvements within the infrastructure and enhancing an established SCCM and SCSM architecture. In addition to this the implementation and improvement on current security practices within the organisation. The Candidate The ideal candidate should currently be working in an Infrastructure role looking for their next challenge or will be in 2nd line Support role looking to move their career to the next level. You will have a solid skill set encompassing Active Directory, Window Platforms, Server Applications and will have experience providing support on a global scale. Essential Experience Working experience in Microsoft Systems Centre including SCOM / SCCM /SCSM Working experience Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Working experience with MS Windows Server- Ideally up to 2012 - configuration and support Strong scripting skills – PowerShell Desirable Education/Skills/Experience Working knowledge of Cisco network switches Working experience of: Microsoft SQL architecture, performance tuning, queries, reporting Working knowledge, configuration and administration of VMware vSphere 5.5+ Degree in IT or related subject ITIL accreditation Cisco accreditation This an excellent opportunity, the client offers training and development as well as exciting project work.
