The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) is the trade union and educational, professional organisation for the UK’s 57,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.

Working within the Employment Relations & Union Services (ERUS) Directorate, you will take responsibility for supporting and organising the CSP diversity networks and develop strategies to enhance member engagement with them.

This will be formulating CSP policies and strategies in specialist research areas, as well as taking the lead in co-ordinating the updating of ERUS research briefings and web pages on a range of employment issues, while exploring ways to enhance their accessibility and presentation.

You will have experience of trade union or equivalent research and policy work, particularly in equality and diversity.

You will have a proven track record of organising within a member based organisation. Experience of writing and producing high quality briefings and information, for both print and digital (including social) media is essential.

You will have a thorough understanding of industrial relations issues and the wider trade union movement , along with a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity principles.

For an informal discussion, please contact Kate Moran, on 020 7306 6687.
