Advisor, Institutional Data and Analytics
An International Charity based in London are looking for an Advisor, Data and Analytics. The purpose of this post is to strengthen the charity's data collection, reporting and analysis mechanisms to increase the charities organisational effectiveness and performance. In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience: Lead the expansion of DHIS2 as charity's data warehouse for all performance-related datasets, including performance data related to restricted projects Develop dashboards, indicators and analytical frameworks on the DHIS2 platform to improve data quality and promote data utilization at all levels of the Federation Provide support to the Organisational Learning and Evaluation (OLE) unit in the collection, analysis, reporting and monitoring of charity's performance results Lead the development and use of GIS/mapping data and analytics for decision making Provide training workshops and technical assistance to Regional Offices and Member Associations on institutional data (including Routine Data Quality Assessments (RDQA), services statistics and Vulnerability Assessment methodology). Conduct data analyses to be included in global proposals (data analyses and presentation, projections and log frames). Support Evaluation Officer, Donor Accountability on all donor-related data analyses. Provide administrative assistance to OLE in annual planning, budgeting and reporting. Build and maintain positive relationships with all members of staff, and contacts within and outside the Federation. In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience: Degree in social sciences, economics, statistics or demography with strong experience of data analysis. Excellent and proven analytical skills of quantitative data; highly numerate Strong verbal communication Excellent IT skills, with advanced level Microsoft Excel; other statistical and online survey packages desirable (DHIS2, SPSS, FluidSurveys, Tableau) Fluent English essential; knowledge of French desirable Strong organizational and time management skills required to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
