The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you would be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of stores' sales recoding and settlement reconciliation… o Auditing and balancing daily sales and cash deposits for all stores across the UK o Identifying and resolving any sales and cash variances o Reviewing and approving monthly bank reconciliations o Providing reports for trend analysis, monitoring data for accuracy o Identifying problem areas in existing processes and suggesting solutions and improvements The Candidate The ideal candidate for the role will have experience working as part of a high volume and fast paced accounts team, with significant bank/cash reconciliation experience essential. You will be a well organised individual, able to multitask and prioritise a workload effectively, with strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with people at all levels will be required, as will good IT skills, particularly Excel. Experience using JDA software would also be an advantage. The Company A leading high street retailer of greeting cards, gifts and wrap, established in 1968, with over 400 stores across the UK.
