Technical Customer Manager - Hertfordshire - £50,000 - £55,000 plus package

A global leading manufacturing company are currently seeking a Technical Customer Manager to be based at their site in Hertfordshire with regular travel to their European site.

As a Technical Customer Manager you will support both the Technical and Commercial teams and will coordinate all technical exchanges between the customer and manufacturing. You will play a critical part in supporting multiple departments to understand and propose the best solution to the customer to ensure you maintain a strong working relationship with key customers.

The Technical Manager will be the key point of technical contact for the customer and technical teams across Europe. You will collect and analyse the technical needs of the customer and will work closely with Manufacturing and Technology teams to produce an adequate technical solution for all projects. You will support the Commercial Account Managers during preparation of requirements and will work closely with NPI teams for New Product Introductions within the European region.

This role will involve weekly travel to the Customer European sites.

To be considered for this position you will hold a Degree within Science or Engineering, preferably Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Fluent French speaker would be advantageous. Proven Project Management skills must be demonstrable along with the ability to understand New Product Introduction from development through to production. Experience of working in a customer facing environment is preferred.

This role offers a basic salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
