The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 11 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training. We are committed to equality and valuing diversity.

The Education Executive will be responsible for engaging and working with school management, teachers and delivery partners in Glasgow and the surrounding areas. With the main aim being to develop quality partnerships in line with the Princes Trust quality standards for Team and/or Achieve programmes.

You will be highly motivated, with strong organisation, communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to influence partners and to inspire our young people to make positive progression towards employment and further education is key. You will need to be adaptable and as comfortable delivering training to partners as you are having a 1-1 with a young person. With all of this in mind an understanding of the Education sector and /or youth work would be a huge advantage. You will also be committed to ensuring that the Prince's Trust programmes operate to the highest quality standards. The cross-portfolio working of the Welsh Government has not been seen before and we hope to exploit this with a strategic investment offer in line with our five year strategy. The new government is an opportunity to explore and develop new relationships across key public sector organisations, unlocking funding and partnership working opportunities.

The Prince's Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS check
