Brief overview of the roleThe main purpose of the role is to provide general administration support to the Marketing Department. To assist the Marketing Team to develop and implement creative marketing strategies and to contribute to the smooth running of the Department on a day to day basis.Duties include·Assist the Marketing Team with promotional campaigns and activities, new literature, direct mail shots and adverts. ·Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials ·Assist in the coordination of relevant local marketing activities including direct mail campaigns, flyers, posters and press advertising. ·Maintain and update mailing databases ·Assist in the coordination of and provide support during various exhibitions, workshops ·Updating and maintaining the company CRM database (SuperOffice). Assist in developments to the CRM and delivering training ·To contribute to the company growth by creating new marketing ideas ·Process requests for information and literature ·Data mining using the internet, magazines and other media sources including information from the CRM database as and when required ·Send any required correspondence to the Sales Engineers and ensure information is sent via post on a weekly basis ·Champion Phoenix Contacts’ brand values to ensure consistent delivery throughout the UK directly and via its partners ·Maintain & monitor levels of literature and promotional items and report to the Marketing Coordinator when stock needs replenishing ·Regular housekeeping of Marketing Store ·Monitoring and distribution of Demo kits ·Ordering and distribution of Samples required for Marketing Campaigns, demo kits etc ·Assist the Digital Marketing Specialist in EMarketing campaigns and ensure that SuperOffice CRM is updated with unsubscribes, bounces, new mail list subscribers and follow ups for Click-Throughs are generated for the Field Sales Engineers ·Manage the Marketing email workflow and Marketing email inbox.
