Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: Melbourne, Derby, DE73 8JR

Salary: £16,000 - £20,000 Dependent on experience

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with flexible working

Our client is a globally recognised affiliate network and digital marketing company and have grown very quickly since launching in 2011. They have developed into a highly respected and well recognised industry-leading company operating out of Derbyshire, UK.

They are led by an experienced management team and a very hands on board of directors comprised of seasoned veterans within technology, marketing and e-commerce.

Duties of the Digital Marketing Assistant

  • Understanding and working closely with clients and affiliates to identify their needs and develop strategies to increase performance
  • Day to day support of high clients such as Deliveroo, Experian, The Body Shop, Dunder and Wowcher
  • Increasing traffic volumes for existing clients by developing strong and sustainable partnerships
  • Identifying, sourcing and recruiting new affiliates, strategic partners and clients
  • Processing new client contracts and updating contracts using Adobe EchoSign
  • Proactively keeping in contact with all affiliates and clients over phone, email and Skype.
  • Suppression list management
  • Use of social media to promote the network
  • Representing our client at UK and global trade shows
  • To enforce and comply with all company policies and procedures which are fundamental in maintaining effective performance, communication and good business reputation

Requirements of the Digital Marketing Assistant

  • Having a passion for online marketing along with ambition and drive
  • Experience of affiliate marketing or other related online marketing experience is preferable although this is not absolutely essential
  • You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
  • An organised approach and the ability to meet deadlines are key
  • Strong Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to understand and develop third-party technologies
  • High level of English and Maths
  • Possess relevant degree/qualifications or equivalent practical experience (Desirable)
  • Experience in digital marketing - especially affiliate marketing (Desirable)
  • Experience of working with high profile clients (Desirable)
