Our client is a training and development company based in Hemel Hempstead an they are currently looking for a Finance Manager to work as part of the senior management team, reporting directly to and working closely with the Managing Director, providing a comprehensive financial management service to the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for payroll, expenses and credit control
- Completing monthly bookkeeping
- Banking
- Ledger control
- Nominal ledger journals
- Preparing budgets and forecasting
- Managing cash flows
- Completing VAT returns
- Running profit and loss
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Preparing year end and monthly accounts

Candidate Requirements:
- Self-motivated
- At least 1 year's experience as a Finance Manager
- Ability to use own initiative
- Develops own style to achieve desired aims
- Excellent organisation skills
- Good timekeeping skills
- Knowledge and experience with accounting software

Ideally they are looking for a full-time post holder but would consider part-time. Hours of work are 9-5 Monday to Friday. The position is initially offered on a 6 month contract with a view to it becoming permanent. They are offering a salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
