Business Development Manager (IT)

Location: Manchester

Salary: Circa £50,000 p.a. basic + commission + company benefits

Due to an exciting period of growth my client is now seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join them in Manchester.

My client is a leading provider of interactive 3D IT solutions. Their key markets include education and engineering.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be involved in strategic sales into corporate accounts. You will be expected to prospect, qualify, sell and close new business. This role will involve cold-calling, attending trade shows and forums, and managing existing relationships. You will also be involved in developing a strategic market vision.

Skills/ Experience Required

  • Substantial strategic sales experience, ideally within creative software development solutions. A background in gaming or web apps would be desirable, but not essential.
  • Currently selling IOS, Android applications would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
