Finance Manager - Cheshire
Finance Manager Cheshire £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits package Client is a listed organisation, extremely successful in their field, they have been at the forefront of their market for years and recent organisational changes have further increased that position. As a result of a large scale, ongoing transformation project, there is a need for a newly created Finance Manager role. With fantastic progression opportunities on offer, this is an exciting time to join the business. Reporting into the Head of finance, you will be responsible for the production of Head Office accounts, building relationships with both senior finance figures, as well as budget holders across the business. You will be responsible for: * Ensuring that month end reporting is completed * Ownership of the general ledgers and reporting systems * Managing the completion of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations * Preparing central cost forecasts and budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis * Variance analysis against forecast and budget for central costs * Supporting the preparation of financial statements * Primary contact for external auditors * Suggesting and assisting with process improvements * Contributing to a strong controls environment * Ad hoc project work Requirements: You will hold a full accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA). You will have trained either in industry, having experience of working in a financial reporting role, preparing head office/statutory accounts, or you will have trained in practice (of any size) with subsequent, post qualified experience in industry.
