Heritage Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join the team at The Croft located in Amersham. Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £8.50 per hour. Enhancements paid at 10% of the hourly rate for any night hours worked. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Care Assistant to join our home. As a Senior Care Assistant you will ensure that services are provided that respect the choice, dignity and rights of individuals. With a flexible approach to work and responsibilities, you will possess an appropriate NVQ or be willing to work towards and a good record as a carer. As the Senior Care Assistant, you will need to possess good communication skills that will help you interact with service users and their families. Experience with a supervisory role within a health care setting would be an advantage. The Croft is a modern, purpose built registered care home for 60 people. The home provides residential and dementia care for older people and enjoys an excellent reputation because of its high standards. The home is split into four small communities, each with its own staff team. Each community has a comfortable and spacious living room where people can meet or watch the large flat screen TV. Residents can join in with a range of organised activities including coffee mornings, quizzes, discussions and cinema days. All of this takes place within a happy ‘family’ atmosphere supported by the dedicated Activity Organiser. Enhancements paid at 10% of the hourly rate for any night hours worked. Hours of work: 35 hours per week. You will work day shifts on a rolling rota basis, including regular weekends and Bank Holidays.
