What will the role involve?
As a Network Field Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of directly employed and service partner staff to ensure that the operation of the Company's clean water networks is undertaken in the most effective and efficient way. You will be responsible for the Company's relationship with all site users and will promote the Company's best interests in order to maintain a positive view of the Company.
Key drivers will be line management of your team incorporating key operational targets; consumption, leakage detection and resolution, devising leakage action plans, delivering fire hydrant compliance and Health & Safety compliance, DMA flow data interpretation and analysis.
You will be based at one of our regional hub offices in either MOD Donnington, Shropshire or RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. You will be managing a team of five Network Technicians with an area of operation covering North Wales, The West Midlands and counties north of the M4 motorway. You will report directly to the Regional Service Delivery Manager in area.
What skills are we looking for ?
You will represent the face of KWS Defence in your operational area so it is important that you are prepared to own and deal with any issues that require action. You will need to exercise sound judgement and deliver solutions to complex problems, using the internal and external resources at your disposal.
You will need to be able to effectively communicate with staff, customers and suppliers at all levels, with the ability to positively influence outcomes. Well-developed written skills are essential in this role as are proficient IT skills.
A full, valid EU driving licence is necessary for the role.
In order to reduce the amount of disruption to our customers you will be required to work a flexible working pattern on occasion.
