ICT applications and solutions analyst

Developing and supporting a wide range of applications, solutions and systems, you’ll enable our people to do more than ever to make a big difference for our communities.

Who we are

At Selwood Housing Group, we care about improving homes and communities. That’s our mission. So providing quality affordable housing is an important part of what we do. We are committed to providing development opportunities for all our staff to enable them to reach their full potential.

What you’ll do here

As an Applications and solutions analyst you’ll draw on your full, wide range of skills - from your way with people, to your technical and business knowledge, as well as your flair for analysis and problem solving. We will rely on you to develop, implement, support and maintain applications, solutions and associated systems and integrations. Keeping on top of the latest practices and requirements across the organisation, you’ll work closely with a range of individuals to embed common approaches and simplify systems. You will enjoy the chance to manage small projects and contribute to larger ones. You’ll also discover scope to contribute to strategy, design and execute test scripts, and draft documentation for application and software support tasks. Along the way, you’ll have the benefit of training and guidance to keep developing yourself.

Who you are

To join us you’ll need to have either a vocational IT qualification such as HND, or a proven track record of working both as an applications analyst and in an IT support role providing a 2nd or 3rd line service to users. You’ll bring to the role strong problem solving skills and a flair for analysis and lateral thinking. The ability to work within the ITIL framework is vital. Highly motivated, meticulous and methodical, you have an organised approach and a commitment to customer service. Your communication skills - whether collaborating or supporting others, or delivering basic training - set you apart.

For this role TMP Worldwide will collect personal data on behalf of Selwood Housing Group solely for the purposes of recruitment in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act.

Please apply early as applications may close before the indicated date.

No agencies please.
