Documentation Engineer / Technical Clerk - Surrey
Type: Contract Duration: 6 – 9 Months Location: Shepperton, Surrey Rate: Up to £300 per day A Documentation Engineer / Technical Clerk is required to work on site at an Energy from Waste plant at Surrey. Your overall responsibility will be to ensure that drawings and development documentation are controlled and distributed in accordance with company policy. As the Document Controller / Technical Clerk, you will be responsible for the execution of primary and complex protocols and procedures of the project document control system, as well as tasks given by the Engineers from the day-to-day document control workload. The Documentation Engineer / Technical Clerk will be responsible for the following: Processing of all incoming and outgoing documents including receipt, classification, registry, distribution, archiving, storage and retrieval Setting up the Site Project Files, log and monitor Requests for Information Provide administrative support to engineers including preparation of technical documents Implementing precise project quality filling structure within DMS Executing document control protocols and procedures in functional work areas using SharePoint The Documentation Engineer / Technical Clerk will have: Experience in the full life-cycle management of information Document control on major projects within Engineering, Construction or Renewable industries Technical Clerk experience Proficient user of Electronic Document Management Systems For instant consideration, please send your CV by selecting ‘Apply’.
