Position: Credit Control Team Leader Location: Epsom, Surrey Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am-17:00pm Salary: Up to £30k per annum depending on experience+ company bonus Benefits: include an enhanced contributory pension scheme and annual holiday starting at 23 days plus public holidays. About the role: As the Credit Control Team Leader you will ensure the timely collection of all customer debt, and its correct allocation. Monitoring agreed credit limits and implement necessary steps if due dates are exceeded. Responsibilities: - Debt collection / high volume of calls for complex key accounts Administration of monthly statements, daily letters and invoices, ensuring correct information is displayed on all documents - Deal with all Customer queries to ensure a swift payment is made - Credit check existing and monitor new and existing customers to ascertain correct credit limit, complete correct forms for each - Liaise with other internal departments to resolve any disputes quickly i.e. POD’s and Purchase Order numbers - Ensure external portals are maintained up to date and any issues are resolved to ensure swift payment - Check customers have the correct payment terms (as per their contract) amend as necessary - Ensure all returned Direct Debit accounts are administered and called at month end - Building strong relationship with team, internal and external key accounts - Manage a Team of 3 Prepare accounts for external collection and liaise with External Debt Collectors paving a way forward for each debtor - Maintain all accounts receivables, impairments and write offs - Very busy department must be able to work under pressure KPIs - Maximise Cash Collection to targets set - Reduce bad debt provision by agreed target About you: - Competent in all Microsoft Office packages specifically outlook, excel, and word - Previous use of SAP - Excellent communication skills - Credit Control experience – Significant People Management.
