What the job involves
We have an opportunity for a confident and motivated individual to lead our Finance Business Support and ICT team. You will provide an effective support service for financial decision-making across the charity, delivering insightful business analysis, value for money procurement and strong budgetary control to all Directorates. You will lead the strategic business planning process, providing support and challenge from a financial perspective.
What we want from you
An ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified chartered accountant or equivalent, with proven business support experience in a multi-directorate environment, you will be able to lead the annual budgeting/forecasting exercise, developing financial rigour with a focus on value for money. Your knowledge of procurement will enable you to support and challenge activities across the charity. We are also looking for experience of managing and developing an ICT team, as well as managing an ICT budget and supplier relationships.
A strong team ethic and first class communication skills are important, along with the ability to influence effectively across the organisation. Proven knowledge of business planning methods and taxation issues affecting charities are also required for this exciting role.
