Closing date: January 19, 2018 About the role: The Marketing Executive will implement and evaluate the marketing strategy within their organisations to grow foot-fall and consumer basket spend. Responsibilities: - Assist the Head of Marketing in the implementation of strategic marketing plans - Implement and evaluate the marketing programme to ensure it delivers the overall business objectives - Manage local store marketing activities (e.g. store launch or store events) liaising with key stakeholders - Manage all digital and print communication including Point of Sale and leaflets - Develop marketing materials and advertising opportunities, including placing adverts or advertorials in internal, national, regional and specialist publications - Oversee the production of promotional campaigns across all channels - Manage all consumer facings materials to be within Trading Standards legislation - Manage a small team to effectively deliver the marketing programme - Deliver all the marketing output within set budget - Will be required to travel to sites other than normal place of work for business purposes - Could be required to stay away from home overnight or attend evening events on behalf of the business - Will have access to company car as part of role and must ensure this is looked after in accordance with company policy About you: - Full UK Driving Licence is essential - Marketing qualification at least equivalent to a Professional Diploma would be preferred - Demonstrable media experience and commercial awareness is essential - Ability to provide leadership, direction and motivation to teams - Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential - Demonstrable media relationships experience would be advantageous - Commercially focused, capable of delivering results in a cost-effective manner - Competence in customer relationship management and website / database management preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships - Strong organisational and planning skills with an attention to detail - Previous marketing agency experience would be beneficial You may have experience of the following: Marketing Manager, Marketing Executive, Marketing Assistant, Marketing Officer, etc. This vacancy is being advertised by EasyWeb Recruitment, the UK’s leading Online Recruitment Agency.
