Accounting & Tax:

• Ensure general ledger postings.

• Prepare local GAAP and IFRS accounts and monthly reporting.

• Prepare VAT and corporation tax returns.

• Liaise with the finance team in Hong Kong on statutory reporting.

• Budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.


• Coordinate the new office's setup in the UK and other EU countries on rental and facility etc. Review the relevant contracts.

• Support the travel and reimbursement processes set up and facilitate implementation of the relevant group policies.

• Budget vs. Actual analysis.


• Liaise with the finance team in China to provide support for EU business teams.

• Support KPI and business performance reporting with local country data and input.

• Support the preparation of local country business reporting and analysis on specific accounts (i.e. marketing, traffic acquisition, personnel, T&E, etc.)

• Review business contracts related to UK and EU local parties.

• Support local country directors to perform an analytical review of relevant business accounts.

• Involvement in ad-hoc projects on specific EU offices.

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a demonstrable track record of success with multinational companies while the entrepreneurial spirit of embracing and leading changes is also essential to this position.

We expect you to be a qualified ACA/ ACCA with the good academic record, have rich experience on local tax and advanced excel skills.

You need to be a good communicator both written and oral and have the confidence to build on the business partnership with different functions in the business units and with executives. Mandarin is definitely a plus.
