Hays Education are delighted to be working on behalf of an Ofsted 'Good' secondary school in West Bromwich to recruit for a qualified Science teacher for a short term post to start on the 12th of February until the 28th of February 2018. This is a full time teaching role, Monday to Friday covering a planned period of absence.
Your new school
This school is a multi-cultural 11-19 foundation school, serving 1400 students in the North of West Bromwich close to the border with Walsall. It opened in September 2010 and they have quickly established themselves as one of the highest performing schools in the area, an accolade achieved through their commitment to continually improving the quality of teaching and learning and the provision of exciting and dynamic learning experiences for their students. The school is highly involved in fundraising and the pupils and staff raise hundreds of pounds each year for local, national and international charities.
Your new role
This role is offered on a temporary basis, full time, Monday to Friday. All planning will be in place however you will need to make some adjustments to tailor it to your teaching style. The post will be paid to the MPS and Hays Education are handling this on an exclusive basis.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application you will have completed your studies and hold QTS. You will be an experienced Science teacher that is passionate about student progress and is committed to helping pupils to achieve their academic potential. The ideal candidate would have been in a long term or permanent teaching role and will be able to supply Hays with outstanding references from the previous employer.
