Lecturer in Education Studies

£23,560 - £35,583 pro-rata, per annum

We are looking for a Lecturer in Education Studies to join our busy Higher Education team and to also act as a programme leader for the innovative BA Education Studies programme. The role includes leading the team in future developments of the programme to reflect the wider ethos of education, liaising with external bodies in order to deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment, including face to face, blended learning and innovative teaching methods.

The post holder will be engaged in current educational theory and research practices related to subjects across wide aspects of education. Teaching will be carried out at undergraduate level within the School of Business, Law and Education.

With a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the Education Sector and a degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline, you will also have experience of contributing to learning, teaching and assessment. You should also have a recognised teaching qualification and a postgraduate qualification at level 7 in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification (or willing to work towards these).
