About you

As a senior member of the Creative Content team, you will have a passion for all things content with clear expertise in creative direction and the delivery of complex, content-led projects. You will also have demonstrable experience in visual content, covering the creative direction and execution of video and photography.
In this role you will have responsibility for creative direction and governance across multiple projects, from ideation through to production and final delivery. They are looking for someone who is excited by the art of the possible; who is motivated by the opportunity to push clients to create compelling, engaging content and who is able to bring others along with their vision. You will have an experimental, inquisitive nature, and will be excited about generating ideas and working collaboratively to develop those.

The role

Responsible for leading and overseeing the technical and artistic direction of key creative projects with a visual focus, as well as general content focused projects. Works closely with people from a range of disciplines to ensure client expectations are exceeded, and that the ambitions of the creative content team are accomplished.
Line management: direct line management for specified junior team members; mentor and support for all team members

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business development
• Identify strategic and product opportunities relating to the use of visual content, including moving the team into new areas
• Provide creative leadership and governance on projects and to all team members
• Build and strengthen client relationships: always seek to expand and improve a client's brief and be able to articulate the benefit of proposed solutions
• Match your creative passion and focus with quantitative business results and a clear understanding of targets, budgets etc.
• Expert in all aspects of content strategy and able to talk articulately to people of all levels on this
Project delivery
• Develop methods/workflows for implementing and evaluating (visual) content for all digital platforms and for ensuring creative governance and collaboration across the team
• Co-ordinate and schedule team resources, ensuring they deliver against the brief objectives and on time
• Take responsibility for the output of all team members (both directly managed and mentoring) when leading on a project
• Take a problem-solving attitude to client briefs, considering various routes to ensure delivery of the best possible solution
Management and planning
• Ensure that the creative vision of the team - and the broader company - is maintained, understood and delivered in all work
• Manage and mentor direct and dotted line reports - excellent coaching skills and the ability to nurture talent
• Be a point of contact for PMO / Head of Project Management for scheduling and resourcing queries around creative content projects
• To be clear and confident in reporting on project timelines and profitability, and comfortable managing internal and external expectations around this

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• 5+ years' experience in visual content strategy and ideally demonstrable experience working with large, global companies
• Ability to execute and lead projects, with experience delivering great creative in a deadline-driven, high volume production environment
• Proven experience in managing and developing creative teams
• A proven track record and comprehensive knowledge of video production for multiple platforms, with technical knowledge of production, video formats and editing
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and mentor junior team members to reach their full potential
• Strong understanding of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in motion design work with a good understanding of the various applications of post-production in creating video from still and moving assets
• Experience in providing creative direction at all stages of a project and an excellent grasp of translating and communicating messages visually

Key Skills: Creative Video production, motion design work, multiple platforms worked with large global companies, 5 + years experience in visual content strategy
