Pipeline & Pressure Control Technician
Pipeline and Pressure Control Technician South East England Salary - up to £29,500 plus overtime A number of opportunities have arisen for Pipeline and Pressure Control Technicians, working across the South East region of the UK, within the Gas transmission maintenance department of a key client. The role will give you the exposure of pipeline network projects across the Southern regions of the UK, and you will work as part of a growing team manaing gas supplies through the transportation network. Responsibilities will include: Routine maintenance and inspection of pressure regulating and gas storage equipment. Fault diagnosis and repair of equipment - including emergency response to breakdowns and issues. Working on the steel piping networks, undertaking corrosion control and maintenance. You will ideally be: Highly motivated with an ability to self-motivate to complete tasks on a day to day basis. Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, with internal members of staff, external contractors, clients etc. Able to fault find in a logical manner, and able to use initiative to solve problems. Qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline. Experienced in working at height and in hazardous working environments. The role will require you to work in a variety of working environments, and extensive training and investment programmes will be available to more junior members of the team for up-skilling purposes. You will also be required to hold a valid UK driving licence, as the role will require you to visit different sites, so you will need to be able to get there. The role will be based in and around the South East of England including West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and Surrey.
