Information Security Manager (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) Newcastle Upon Tyne Up to £50k plus £5k car allowance, pension, health & flexible benefits Overview: We are looking for a number of experienced Information Security Managers to play a key part in the continued growth of a cyber security function within the managed solutions group of this global services business. The roles have come about due to the progression of previous candidates into higher level positons. You`ll provide technical advice and leadership for the internal team and to external customers within the managed services business. This opportunity would enable you to play a key role in helping clients to improve their cyber security operations but your team will also be taking responsibility for the implementation and management of the IS solutions. Role Responsibilities: * Lead and deliver implementation and management of cyber security solutions externally within this business stream (Managed solutions) * Work closely with audit and risk divisions before implementation of technical solution * Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring staff * Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff * Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals * Maintain an educational program to continually develop personal skills Skills and experience * Awareness of National and International security standards * The successful candidate must hold or be willing to pursue related professional certifications such as the CISSP, CISM, CISA. * Strong knowledge and experience of a number of the following areas: Information Security, Security architecture design and implementation , Security assessments (including penetration testing), Identity access management and Privacy, networks and operating systems * Creative, independent with good problem solving skills * Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills * Solid project management and service delivery skill (Possibly with accreditation, e.g., ITIL, PRINCE2, PMI, MSP) * Experience in senior stakeholder management * Advanced written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills * Client service delivery and able to manage multiple engagement teams and projects * Experience in coaching and supervising junior team members * Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment The company: World renowned professional services business looking to expand further into the World of information and cyber security solutions.
