Calling all Events and Marketing Professionals! I am looking for a Marketing and Events Executive based in Gloucestershire with 2 years’ experience in a similar role, an individual who is looking to build a career in the full marketing mix coupled with event management.

My client is looking to add a Marketing member to their team with an events management focus working closely with the sales teams to help achieve sales budget and business objectives. You will be required to attend, co-ordinate, set up and pack up key events across the calendar, combining your responsibilities with the full marketing mix.

I am looking for a positive, passionate and assertive candidate who is able to demonstrate a keen interest in event management and marketing across the full mix. Your key responsibilities will include:
• To plan, co-ordinate, market & deliver events and external exhibitions
• Generate new leads by showcasing the product ranges and proposition to prospective customers and growing existing customer accounts.
• Support the supplier engagement calendar of marketing activity across print and digital.
• Preparation of creative, digital and written content for use across all channels, ensuring content and images are entered correctly into the CMS and optimised for SEO and social media.
• Assisting in the production of marketing collateral, including supplier liaison & briefing of external marketing agencies, product suppliers and venues.
• Support with adhoc administrative duties and any other marketing duties required

Your skills and experience should include:
• CIM certificate, an events/hospitality qualification or equivalent experience of working in a Marketing and events role, either client or agency-side.
• Demonstrable experience of event planning and execution within budget, to objectives and to deadline.
• Experience in digital and traditional marketing methods for events, as well as ROI measurement.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, as well as high levels of organisation, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
• A self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong attention to detail and pride in work produced.
• Good commercial understanding and the ability to learn and develop new skills and processes.
• Strong writing skills with a high level of computer literacy, including MS windows suite.
