Accounts Receivable Analyst Telford Permanent Up to £19,000 per annum + excellent benefits including 22 days holidays + stats increasing by 1 day per year up to 26 days Monday – Friday 40 hours per week shift options are 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm Our global service client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will work with colleagues across the business and with customers to ensure all credit control and AR activities are completed and adhered to in accordance with client requirements. The successful candidate will manage anything from 10 – 20 accounts and deal with all associated invoice queries. This role isn’t high volume calls but relationship building with the ability to resolve queries quickly and efficiently as possible Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; • Proactively contact customers to agree open balances and address any missing items • Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales • Enforce contractual terms and conditions for receivable balances • Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity, including any escalation actions • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to mitigate any potential risk • Review disputed bills to establish validity of claim. Where valid, progress with the appropriate contacts to resolve and enable release of payment • Where payment is withheld with no valid reason, progress and follow escalation process to ensure all concerned parties are appraised of the issue and support as required • Participate in meeting either online or face to face as required, to discuss and resolve customer issues • Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal AR enquiries • Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the department (FSS) • Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables, ensuring comprehensive supporting detail • Ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management • Undertake account reconciliations as required • Ensure month-end activities’ deadlines are met as required • Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time • Reporting and analysing data on Excel To be considered for this position with a fantastic organisation you will have intermediate Excel skills, be enthusiastic, self-motivated person with the ability to work on own initiative and able to prioritise and handle a varying work load within deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and be able to negotiate with clients whilst maintaining professionalism. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and strives to deliver a consistently high standard of client service.
