MS SQL Developer Interactive Software develops highly configurable and scalable web-based CRM and Research and Laboratory Sample Management solutions to a number of prestigious Universities, Pharmaceutical and Academic Research establishments. We have highly ambitious plans for expansion into new, global markets and are looking for a highly talented MS SQL Database Developer who can work with leading technologies to join our experienced team of Software Developers. As a MS SQL Database Developer you will be responsible for disseminating customer requirements to produce high quality software solutions. You will have drive, enthusiasm, a can do attitude, and are ready to become part of a technology driven and collaborative team, in a fast paced exciting environment. MS SQL Database Developer key responsibilities include: Designing, implementing and testing scalable, performance efficient relational databases Defining, creating, managing and automating (where possible) database administrative routines including installations, database backups and restores, replication and archiving Designing and creating standard, secure and robust procedures, functions and routines for accessing, updating, inserting and deleting information for use in APIs, data migration, reports and business processes Designing and implementing robust roles and security protocols using the appropriate tools and methodologies to prevent unauthorised access both from within the database and externally Designing, implementing and managing the hosted solution database environment Experience required: Proven design and delivery of scalable, integrated, corporate-level, relational databases in a commercial environment – minimum 5 years Defining and creating data interfaces, migration and synchronisation routines between business applications – minimum 3 Years Proven use of standards compliance including development practices and disciplines (including commenting code, formatting code, splitting into functions) – minimum 5 years Security and service design Setting up and managing hosted solutions (especially on the Microsoft Azure environment) advantageous Please note: you must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.
