Support Analyst – UNIX – Scripting - SQL – FIX Protocol – London. Miller Maxwell is working with an expanding global equities brokerage seeking to hire a Support Analyst for their growing team in London. The Support Analyst will be support a sophisticated, leading-edge trading platform used by front-office traders within Europe. The Support Analyst will gain experience of exchange connectivity, market data feed support and low-latency trading. Fantastic opportunity for a Support Analyst to work with front-office traders, gain equities asset class experience whilst supporting an interesting technology stack.

The Support Analyst will;

  • Work in a live production environment
  • Support real-time equities trading platform
  • Troubleshoot, monitor and analyse trades
  • Deploy new trading applications
  • Work closely with front office traders
  • Troubleshoot FIX protocol – FIX connectivity issues
  • Test and execute production changes
The Support Analyst will need:

  • 3 years commercial application, software or trading system support experience
  • Experience working for a Brokerage, Exchange of financial ISV Software Vendor
  • Linux experience
  • Solid SQL Server experience
  • Experience of FIX Protocol – FIX Connectivity – FIXML
  • Scripting experience
