Our client, a Multi-Discipline Design Consultancy, has a very exciting opportunity for a FIRE ENGINEERING CONSULTANT based out of their office in London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a Multi-National Blue chip organisation at the heart of the operation.

This really is a super opportunity to join a market leader in their field. Our clients Fire Safety Consultancy team guides the client and design team through complex fire legislation to identify and design a fire strategy for every project which delivers fire safety solutions with the paramount objective of safeguarding life.

Our specialists design and implement the fire protection systems (active fire suppression) to meet both the requirements identified within the strategy and those in statutory requirements or approvals.

To be considered for this position candidates should have the following:

* MUST have 2+ year's professional experience working within a fire engineering /consultancy environment

Experience should include:

* Preparation of fire strategy reports
* Preparation of fire engineering solutions
* Carrying out fire risk assessments
* Carrying out construction works processes
* Creating and reporting on Computational Fluid Dynamic fire models
* Fire engineering tools such as Two-Zone Modelling and / or Fast-Lite
* Ability to view, print and mark up drawings using CAD
* Business development
* A good understanding of passive fire protection methods and smoke control systems with a basic knowledge of fire suppression systems
* Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Ability to manage own time to meet deadlines
* Candidates will have an appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions
* MUST have relevant engineering degree, ideally Fire Engineering
* MUST have a passion for creative and intuitive design
* Membership of the IFE would be advantageous.

Salary guide for this position - depending on experience, qualifications etc. c.33,000 to £38,000 plus benefits (see attached).
