Full time - 3 month Finance Assistant role working in Midlothian. Starting Immediately.
Your new company
Growing private sector organisation is going from strength to strength and has a need for a Finance Assistant to come on board as soon as possible to assist the Finance director with transactional finance. The temporary position will be for a period of at least 3 months with the potential for it to go permanent.
Your new role
In your new role you will be assisting the Finance Director with the companies transactional finance. The duties will include but will not be limited to purchase ledger and sales ledger, payment runs and dealing with the purchase order system and liaising with other offices throughout the UK. You will be an essential part of the team and will assist with any adhoc duties as and when required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need practical experience within a finance function including experience of purchase ledger and sales ledger. Knowledge of the accounting system Xero is preferable but not essential. In person you will be friendly and able to maintain excellent working relationships within a small office environment. You will be immediately available to start work and able to travel to Midlothian, specifically around the Peniculk area.
