Thanks to continuing growth and expansion we are looking for an experienced, pro-active and logical thinker to join our Quality Management team. The role will have responsibility for leading a team responsible for the quality management system including the assurance and compliance with global quality systems regulation requirements and ensuring that mandated processes are created, implemented and validated consistently across the company, 3rd party manufacturers and international distribution partners.The position will be based from our Head Office in Leeds. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of relevant experience and have the ability to interact with and influence personnel at all levels of the company and external bodies. We welcome applications from candidates looking for a full or part time role.Essential requirements:
·Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role
·Excellent working knowledge of relevant quality management system standards: ISO 9001, ISO 13485 (including implementation of the 2016 standard;
·Knowledge of Medical Device regulatory requirements in regards to both the MDD and MDR
·ISO 13485 auditor qualification or highly experienced in conducting internal/external audits
·Leads continuous improvement initiatives to reduce customer complaints, defects/scrap, and non-conformance.
·Sets and maintains standards of performance and reporting of Quality KPI'S for the business
·Experienced in the implemention and management of change/design controls
·Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant business discipline;
·Self-motivated, creative and delivery focussed;
·Excellent numerical skills;
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable but not essential:
Knowledge of MDSAP, CmdCas Canada and FDA US standards;
