Junior Front-End Web Developer

Within this role you will primarily be assisting the Web Manager to develop, deploy and maintain websites for both current and future projects the company is involved in.

Key responsibilities:

·writing code for various aspects of the website to meet the business requirements

·testing the website and identifying any technical problems

·Contributing to the planning and prototyping of new aspects of the website

·Testing sites and applications in different browsers and environments

·Fixing bugs in existing projects

·Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases

·Assisting in running performance benchmarking tests

·learning and testing new technologies, frameworks and languages

·staying up to date with new trends and advancements in web development

·Liaising with other department to ensure aspects of the website fits the needs of the project

About you:

·Previous experience in web development or equivalent graduate qualification

·Knowledge in creating fast loading, responsive online experiences

·Experience in cross-browser compatibility and testing

·Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Javascript

·Ability to code with accessibility and SEO in mind

·Experience using back-end language. PHP desirably

·Some experience working with CMS i.e. Joomla, WordPress, Drupal desirable

·Experience with common front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap desirable

·Good interpersonal skills to coordinated with the Web Manager

·Driven to learn and grow within each position to progress your career as port of a renowned events company
