Property Claims Handler

Your new company
Hays office support are currently working with a leading financial service organisation based in York. This company is highly regarded in their industry and as an employer in York. Due to growth and success this organisation is looking for a claims handler to join their Property division.
Your new role
Within this job you will specialise in commercial and private property claims. You will be required to talk to the customer and listen to the details of the claim. You will offer reassurance at what is likely to be a stressful and distressing time. You will be required to liaise with third parties to settle the claim as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will manage the claim from start to finish including deciding on legal liability and policy liability issues.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be able to provide first class customer service. You will be comfortable making decisions on policy liability. You will have an awareness of compliance and regulations. Experience within property, pet, travel or commercial claims is essential for this job. You will have good attention to detail and plenty of common sense.
