An RMM (Remote Monitoring Management) Service Engineer with a good understanding of Autotask, Active Directory and Windows/Mac is required for a Managed Services Provider on a permanent basis in Basingstoke.

Role: RMM Service Engineer

Salary: Up to £25,000pa

Location: Basingstoke

Our client is a Managed IT Services provider and solutions company based just outside of

London. The main focus of our client is to provide Managed IT services to customers who are based in London and the South East.

The Role

You will be an RMM Service Engineer and part of the Central Services Team that is managed by the IT Services Manager and you will be responsible for the ongoing management, support and development of our RMM tools and processes.

You will work closely with the Service Desk team which consists of three Service Desk engineers, as well as the Client Network Alignment Engineer who frequently attends client sites to perform ongoing IT alignment reviews.


At least 1 years experience in a technical position working with RMM tools (e.g.Autotask Endpoint Management, Centrastage, Continuum, Absolute Manage, JAMF Casper)Experience and a good understanding of agent deployment and remote takeover technologiesA good understanding of the Microsoft Server OS and Active DirectoryExperience of basic scripting and use of the command lineAn understanding of and experience with Active Directory administrationDemonstrable experience supporting Mac and Windows OS in a small to medium-sized business environmentInstallation and support of networks (TCP/IP, switching, VLANs, Routers, Firewalls)Personal

Experience using Autotask PSA and Autotask Endpoint Management (formally Centrastage)Experience with remote deployment of agents and centralised IT services (Antivirus,software patching, remote scripting)The ability to manage change within RMM systems as client network environments changeAn understanding and experience working with the SNMP protocolCreation and ongoing review of monitoring alertsThe ability to produce high-level reports from RMM informationExperience of remote agent deploymentA relevant ITIL, Apple or Windows qualificationBenefits
