You should be proactive and great at problem solving. Have the ability to learn quickly and master new skills. A good understanding of SOLID, clean code principles and design patterns is essential. A keen appetite for self-development and investing in your own knowledge is desirable. You need to be a great communicator and have solid interpersonal skills.
You will be proficient in .NET (C#), WebAPI and OWIN and ideally have experience working with micro-services architecture and tools such as TopShelf and RabbitMQ. Working experience of document store (NoSQL) databases is desirable, especially experience with MongoDB, Redis or Elastic Search. You will have good experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests on C# code and will have experience with test frameworks such as NUnit, and Moq.
You will also have some dev ops experience and be comfortable doing occasional server maintenance and continuous deployment tweaks in TeamCity and Octopus Deploy.
Ideally you will have had experience working as part of an agile development team using iterations and continuous improvement practices. Any experience leading agile teams is desirable.
Nice to have's: A degree in computing science or related subject is an advantage but not compulsory.
