The primary school I am working with is a vibrant school based in Preston's inner city. It is a successful and inclusive school that offers a creative and broad curriculum to help children develop skills for learning and skills for life. Your new role
The job will begin immediately for at least one half term and the potential to be ongoing. You will be tasked with taking over the Year 5 class full-time. You will be expected to plan and deliver high quality lessons built around the curriculum whilst maintaining management of the class. Although behaviour amongst pupils is 'Good', the school is particularly interested in finding teachers who have strong behaviour management techniques.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this role you will need to have Qualified Teacher Status and be able to provide at least two relevant references from the last two years. Due to the nature of the position, experience and evidence of a working in KS2 is a necessity. An ability to deliver strong feedback including marking, in order to enhance a child's learning will help you excel in your new role.
